'You Need A Little Peyote': Jane Fonda And Lily Tomlin's Advice For Stephen Colbert

By Lucía Tedesco via El Planteo

During an interview on "The Late Show," actresses Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin recommended Stephen Colbert to try peyote. They were on the show promoting their 2022 movie, "Moving On."

"You guys have done peoyte together," Colbert said. They both confirmed it.

But Fonda quickly added that, while she generally had good experiences with the substance, the time they did it together was "horrible" because she was utterly paranoid: "It was the worst," she said, adding, "I wouldn't do peyote unless you're with a guide or something."

"A shaman, as I am," Tomlin, who has extensive experience on the subject, voiced.

When the host asked about microdosing, Tomlin said she had taken some that day and that she usually does. She also joked that it's something she's a bit more advanced in than Fonda.

Colbert also asked, "Do you think it would be good for me?" regarding peyote use. Fonda said yes and offered to be his guide, while jokingly gesturing not to trust Tomlin's shamanism.
