U.S. stocks were mixed, with the Nasdaq Composite gaining around 100 points on Friday.
Shares of Booz Allen Hamilton Holding Corporation BAH rose sharply during Friday's session after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly EPS and sales.
Booz Allen Hamilton reported fiscal second-quarter adjusted EPS of $1.81, topping the analyst consensus estimate of $1.49. Quarterly sales of $3.15 billion, up 18% year-on-year, beat the street view of $2.97 billion. The backlog grew by 17.7%, reaching $41.3 billion, while the quarterly book-to-bill ratio stood at 2.61x.
Booz Allen Hamilton shares jumped 10% to $183.21 on Friday.

- ZEEKR Intelligent Technology Holding Limited ZK gained 21.5% to $28.08.
- Tapestry, Inc. TPR gained 13.3% to $50.37 following a report alleging that a judge blocked the company’s proposed acquisition of Capri. The company issued a statement on the ruling saying it intends to appeal the decision.
- Sangamo Therapeutics, Inc. SGMO rose 11.7% to $1.6650.
- Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. DJT gained 11.2% to $38.85.
- AppFolio, Inc. APPF gained 10.4% to $211.98 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results and raised its FY24 revenue guidance. Also, Piper Sandler maintained an Overweight rating on the stock.
- Deckers Outdoor Corporation DECK rose 10.2% to $167.53 after the company reported better-than-expected second-quarter financial results.
- Digital Realty Trust, Inc. DLR gained 10.2% to $182.01 after the company reported better-than-expected third-quarter FFO results and raised its FY24 FFO guidance.
- Saia, Inc. SAIA gained 9.2% to $452.58 following strong quarterly sales.
- Boyd Gaming Corporation BYD surged 6.7% to $68.60 after the company reported better-than-expected quarterly financial results.
