IBM IBM has agreed to buy UNCA for $21 per share, or $480 million in a cash transaction, valuing UNCA at a premium of 120% over its previous session’s closing price. Premier Exhibitions Inc PRXI added 98.28% to $2.30 in pre-market trading. United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia has issued an opinion to grant salvage award to PRXI for recovery of titanic artifacts. Trubion Pharmaceuticals Inc TRBN moved up 49.67% to $4.49 in pre-market trading. Emergent BioSolutions Inc EBS has agreed to purchase TRBN for about $135.5 million in cash. Veeco Instruments Inc VECO gained 6.48% to $33.70 in the pre-market session. Elec-Tech International has selected VECO’s TurboDisc K465i Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) systems as their “tool of choice” for two new LED factories in China.
