Sprint S posted a wider-than expected second-quarter loss and warned of higher costs in the current period. The company announced its plans to cut its work force by an additional 2,000 positions. Sprint shares tumbled 7.58% to $5.73 in the after-hours trading session.

Analysts expect CVS Health CVS to report its Q3 earnings at $1.13 per share on revenue of $34.74 billion. CVS Health shares slipped 0.14% to $86.00 in after-hours trading.
