Live Cattle Futures Lower

Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 111,000 head versus a year ago at 107,000 head.

Live Cattle futures traded lower Friday and ended the session near the lows of the day.

October Live Cattle at last check was trading at 136.07, down 0.77 and December Live Cattle was trading at 138.42, down 0.90.

The USDA will release its monthly Cattle on Feed Report at 3:00 p.m. ET.
