Market Roundup (CROX, PETD, RKT)

Shares of Crocs Inc CROX jumped about 7.8% after around three analysts lifted their price targets on Crocs, since the company reported its quarterly results on November 4. CROX shares have advanced 151.48% so far this year. Shares of Petroleum Development Corp PETD gained about 6.8% after the company reported its FQ3 earnings at $0.17 per share on $87.6 million in revenue. The company posted better-than-expected quarterly results. PETD said, "As we continue to successfully execute on our plans, 2011 is setting up to be a very good year in spite of challenging gas prices." Shares of Rock-Tenn Co RKT lost about 5.1%, after reaching a 10-year high in the previous week. RKT shares have gained 13.48% over the last month and moved up 14.21% year-to-date. Gold futures moved up and reached beyond the level of $1,400 an ounce. Gold for December delivery rose 0.2% to $1,399.80 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX).
