BP Up On Potential Interest From Royal Dutch Shell, (BP, RDSA)

Shares of BP plc (ADR) BP are up almost 2% in pre-market trading on reports out of the U.K.'s Daily Mail that Royal Dutch Shell RDS could have potential interest in the company. The article says that Shell had an immediate interest in BP after the crisis in the Gulf of Mexico, and it still does to this day. Shell's board ultimately decided not to go after BP because of the legal liabilities that BP was facing.
