The sources said Alaska Air has outbid JetBlue Airways Corporation JBLU. Alaska Air shares gained 1.05 percent to $82.87 in after-hours trading, while Virgin America shares rose 1.54 percent to $39.50 in the after-hours trading session. Sunedison Inc SUNE shares tumbled over 45 percent in Friday's after-hours session, amid a fresh report from Dow Jones that the solar company plans to file for bankruptcy protection in the next few weeks, according to the outlet's sources. Sunedison shares dipped 45.35 percent to $0.2350 in the after-hours trading session. Talen Energy Corp TLN is said to be the target of a leveraged buyout, according to a report from SparkSpread. Talen announced Friday it had completed the sale of the Holtwood and Lake Wallenpaupack hydroelectric plants for $860 million. Talen Energy shares fell 1.99 percent to $9.84 in the after-hours trading session.
