• Western Digital Corp. WDC boosted its earnings forecast for the fourth quarter. The company now projects Q4 adjusted earnings of $2.85 per share, versus earlier outlook of $2.55 to $2.65 per share. Western Digital shares fell 2.06 percent to $90.75 in the after-hours trading session.

• Before the opening bell, IHS Markit Ltd INFO is projected to report quarterly earnings at $0.52 per share on revenue of $897.87 million. IHS Markit shares surged 2.48 percent to $47.55 in after-hours trading.
• Analysts are expecting Darden Restaurants, Inc. DRI to have earned $1.15 per share on revenue of $1.86 billion in the latest quarter. Darden will release earnings before the markets open. Darden shares gained 0.36 percent to $90.40 in after-hours trading.
