Bed Bath & Beyond Inc BBBY reported its Q4 earnings at $283.5 million, or $1.12 per share, up from $226 million, or $0.86 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's sales increased around 12% to $2.50 billion. Sales at stores open at least a year, rose 8.5%. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.97 per share on revenue of $2.39 billion. BBBY projects Q1 earnings of $0.58 to $0.61 per share, versus analysts' estimates of $0.59 per share. BBBY shares jumped 10.24% to $54.45 in after-hours trading.
Wall Street expects Constellation Brands Inc STZ to report its Q4 earnings at $0.26 per share on revenue of $731.54 million. STZ shares fell 1.07% to close at $20.38 yesterday.
ImmuCor Inc BLUD reported its FQ3 earnings at $22.7 million, or $0.32 per share, up from $20.1 million, or $0.28 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's sales increased 4% to $83.3 million. However, analysts were estimating earnings of $0.27 per share on revenue of $81.8 million. BLUD now projects FY11 profit of $1.18 to $1.20 per share on revenue of $328 million to $330 million, up from its earlier guidance of $1.08 to $1.18 per share on revenue of $320 million to $332 million. However, analysts projected earnings of $1.14 per share on revenue of $326.9 million in fiscal 2011. BLUD shares surged 7.56% to $21.49 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Rite Aid Corporation RAD to report a Q4 loss at $0.24 per share on revenue of $6.38 billion. RAD shares lost 1.89% to $1.04 in after-hours trading.
Ruby Tuesday Inc RT reported its Q3 earnings at $16 million, or $0.25 per share, down from $17.8 million, or $0.28 per share, in the year-ago period. Excluding one-time items, the company's earnings came in at $0.24 per share. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.31 per share. The company's total revenue rose around 4% to $319.1 million. RT projects full-year earnings of $0.74 to $0.82 per share, down from analysts' forecast of $0.91 per share. RT shares dipped 9.87% to $12.05 in the after-hours trading session.
