Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting earnings reports along with data on jobless claims and producer-price inflation. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 50 points to 12,149.00 and S&P 500 index futures fell 6.60 points to 1,302.10. Futures on the Nasdaq 100 dropped 16.75 points to 2,291.75. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were lower today. While STOXX Europe 600 Index has dropped 0.57%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.99%. Most Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average gaining 0.13%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.54% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.26%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.50%.
