A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

After flitting between losses and gains, US stock futures have moved deeper into the red. While futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 28 points to 10,480, those on the S&P 500 moved down 1.70 to 1,109. Meanwhile, NASDAQ futures lost 0.08% to 1,885.

Overseas, stocks in Europe broke their six-day rally as investors got concerned about the possible weakening in the economic recovery. STOXX Europe 600 Index lost 0.21% and London’s FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.63%. Most Asian markets ended in the positive territory, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average adding 2.70%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 0.63% and China's Shanghai Composite gaining 2.27%.

Hudson Securities is extremely positive on Wyndham Worldwide

after the company reported a very strong quarter yesterday. Hudson rates shares of Wyndham a Buy and has a $33 price target on shares. In the report, Hudson Securities writes, "Forget What We Said Yesterday. In our preview, we suggested that WYN shares may not trade up or down much on today’s earnings. We’d like to revise and extend our remarks. This report was strong across the board and the company is firing on all cylinders. Shares should do well today. We’re still fans and would buy the stock aggressively."
