A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 102 points to 10,922.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index rose 12.70 points to 1,136.20. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 27.75 points to 2,068.75. A Peek Into Global Markets Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average dipping 1.0449%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.51% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.73%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 0.4482% and India's Sensex gained 1.24%. European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has gained 1.47%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 1.99%, German DAX 30 index rose 0.62% and France CAC 40 index gained 1.66%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Auriga upgraded Hewlett-Packard Company HPQ from “hold” to “buy.” The target price for Hewlett-Packard is set to $32.
