A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are lower this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average dipped 53 points to 11,965.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index fell 6.40 points to 1,278.10. Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 11.50 points to 2,235.50. A Peek Into Global Markets Most Asian markets ended lower, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average gaining 0.28%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.34% and China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.91%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index fell 0.68% and India's Sensex dipped 0.99%. European markets were lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has dropped 0.22%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.23%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at FBR Capital upgraded SL Green Realty Corporation SLG from “market perform” to “outperform.” The target price for SLG has been raised from $89 to $95.
