Here is the ETF Professor's ETF Watch List for Monday May 24, 2010. With Chinese stocks trading higher overnight, watch the iShares FTSE/Xinhua China 25 Index FXI and the Claymore/AlphaShares China Small-Cap ETF HAO. Oil looked like it was firming a bit overnight, so keep an eye on the ProShares Ultra Oil & Gas ETF DIG and its inverse cousin, the ProShares UltraShort Oil & Gas DUG. The Professor is a little leery of the bounce in materials names, so put the ProShares UltraShort Basic Materials ETF SMN on your list. Along those same lines, the iShares S&P Global Materials ETF MXI gained more than 3% on Friday. Small-caps started to firm up on Friday making the iShares Russell 2000 Index IWM. The iShares MSCI Sweden Index EWD was up almost 5% on Friday. The SPDR Barclays Capital High Yield Bond ETF JNK was up more than 3% on Friday.
