US Stock Futures Mixed As Investors Await Data On Economic Growth And Existing Home Sales

US stock futures are mixed this morning, as investors are awaiting data on economic growth and existing home sales. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 1 point to 11,472.00 and S&P 500 index futures gained 0.20 point to 1,250.90. Nasdaq 100 futures fell 2.25 points to 2,233.00. US stock markets closed higher yesterday, with the blue-chip Dow index gaining 55.03 points or 0.48%. The report on US Q3 gross domestic product (GDP) will be released at 8:30 a.m. ET. The data on November existing home sales is due at 10:00 am ET. Navistar International Corp NAV reports its Q4 EPS, ex-items, at $0.68, beating the consensus of $0.60. NAV reports its Q4 revenue at $3.37 billion, versus the consensus of $3.21 billion. Bed Bath & Beyond BBBY is expected to report its Q3 EPS at $0.65. Analysts are expecting Walgreen Company WAG to have earned $0.54 per share in the first quarter. Nike Inc NKE reported its FQ2 profit at $0.94 per share, up from $0.76 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's revenue increased to $4.84 billion, from $4.41 billion. However, NKE is expecting to face margin pressures in the remaining fiscal year. Positive sentiment ruled the European markets today. While STOXX Europe 600 Index has advanced 0.12%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.24%. Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average losing 0.23%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 0.15% and China's Shanghai Composite falling 0.91%.
