A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning, ahead of a confidence vote in the Greek parliament later in the day. Futures on the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 46 points to 12,059.00 and futures on the S&P 500 stock index rose 5.20 points to 1,279.00. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 8.50 points to 2,208.50. A Peek Into Global Markets Asian markets ended higher, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 1.1261%, Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving up 1.17% and China's Shanghai Composite surging 1.01%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index rose 1.1624% and India's Sensex jumped 0.31%. European markets were higher today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index has gained 0.61%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved up 0.70%, German DAX 30 index rose 0.72% and France CAC 40 index gained 1.0222%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Credit Suisse downgraded Research in Motion Limited RIMM from “outperform” to “neutral.” The target price for RIMM has been lowered from $70 to $30.
