A Peek Into The Market Before The Trading Starts

Pre-open movers US stock futures are higher this morning, as investors are awaiting economic data. Futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 13 points to 13,143.00 and S&P 500 index futures rose 2 points to 1,390.70. Nasdaq 100 futures gained 5.25 points to 2,708.00. A Peek Into Global Markets European markets were mostly lower today. The STOXX Europe 600 Index dropped 0.09%, London's FTSE 100 Index moved down 0.13%, French CAC 40 index fell 0.01% and German DAX 30 index gained 0.19%. Asian markets ended mixed, with Japan's Nikkei Stock Average rising 0.72%, China's Shanghai Composite dropping 0.73% and Australia's S&P/ASX 200 moving down 0.20%. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index gained 0.21% and India's Sensex fell 1.36%. Broker Recommendation Analysts at Credit Suisse upgraded Public Storage PSA from “neutral” to “outperform.” The target price for Public Storage has been raised from $105 to $150.
